Ecoluxx Europe BV heeft besloten om de T5 adapters van het type EcoES28W, EcoES28WR, EcoES35W, EcoES35WR die verkocht zijn in de periode Augustus 2011 t/m November 2011 terug te roepen wegens geconstateerde veiligheidsproblemen. Bij een foute montage of indien de TL lamp niet goed fucntioneert ontstaat er warmte ontwikkeling welke schroei- en rookschade tot gevolg kunnen hebben.
